Seoul International Music Competition was established by the Dong-A Ilbo, one of the most prestigious national newspapers in Korea, and Seoul Metropolitan Government. The competition aims to promote international cultural exchange through music and to support talented young musicians from around the world. The competition is held annually in a rotating cycle of piano, violin, and voice.

The category for 2027 competition is PIANO and the competition will be held from 17 to 28 March 2027 in Seoul.
