Seoul International Music Competition was established by The Dong-A Ilbo, one of the most prestigious national newspapers in Korea, and the Seoul Metropolitan Government. The competition’s aim is to promote international cultural exchanges through music, and to support talented young musicians from around the world. The competition is held annually for piano, violin, and voice, in a rotating sequence. The category for 2017 competition is piano and the competition will be held from March 14 to 26 in Seoul.
