[First Round]

Performances must be a minimum of 25 minutes to a maximum of 30 minutes in duration, consisting of works selected freely by the competitor.

[Second Round]

Performances must be a minimum of 40 minutes to a maximum of 45 minutes in duration, consisting of works selected freely by the competitor. No works from the 1st Round may be repeated. Only complete works will be accepted.

[Semifinal]

Performances must be a minimum of 60 minutes to a maximum of 65 minutes to include the commissioned solo piano work of approximately 7 minutes in length, specially composed for this competition by Korean Composer. The Score will be made available for the competitors who pass the Preliminary Round by September 13. No works from the previous rounds may be repeated. Only complete works will be accepted.

[NOTICE]

1. The repertoire chosen for the solo rounds must include at least one complete sonata by L. v. Beethoven.
2. Competitors may play pieces they presented on the video recording enclosed with the application. However, the same pieces cannot be played in the different rounds of the Competition.
3. All pieces must be performed from memory, with the exception of the commissioned piece of Korean composer which is to be performed in the Semifinal.
4. Repeats are left to the discretion of the candidates.
5. The pieces may be performed in any order.
6. Strict adherence to time limits must be observed. Should the competitor overrun the time limit, the Jury may stop his/her performance.
7. The Competition Office should be notified in writing of any changes to the Competition repertoire no later than September 27, 2024
8. Competition performances will be open to the public.
