Chae Moon Young
Chae Moon Young, studied at Yewon School, Seoul Arts High School, The Purcell School in London. She received Bachelor’s and Master’s degree at Royal College of Music and ended her studies at University of Music Graz in Austria. Moon Young has performed with Korean Symphony Orchestra, Melos Chamber Orchesta, RCM Sinfonietta etc. as well as numerous recitals and chamber music concerts in renowned European venues. She won Maria Canals International Music Competition and Zinetti Chamber Music Competition and won prizes from Yamaha European Competition and Pinerolo International Piano Competition.
Moon Young worked as an official pianist at Hannover International Violin Competition in 2009 and she has been a cooperative pianist at Queen Elisabeth International Competition, Tchaikovsky International Competition, Tibor Varga International Violin Competition, Lipizer International Violin Competition, Prague Spring International Music Competition and received the best pianist prize from the Spohr International Violin Competition. She has been a chamber music partner of world-class artists and also worked at Vienna Conservatory.
Moon Young Recorded Scriabin Preludes from Decca and released a CD from Azzurramusic and from Telos Music Records (for the 200th Anniversary of Schumann’s birth) with her husband, violinist Edwin E.S. Kim. Her next concert appearances are with Korean Chamber Orchestra, Sibiu Filharmonica and Ginhae Sinfonietta.
Kim Ji-Youn
Pianist Kim Ji-Youn graduated from Sunhwa Arts School and in the midst of attending Sunhwa Arts High school, entered the Cologne University of Music in Germany at the youngest age possible. There, she received her Diplom in Music Education and Piano Performance and was awarded the Konzertexamen Degree (Concert Maturity Degree).
Ms. Kim has won numerous prestigious awards such as first prize at the Alexander Scriabin International Piano Competition, second Prize at the Premio Citta’di Padova International Music Competition, and first Prize again at the Edition of International Competition for Soloists and Orchestra in Piano through which she gained recognition as a distinguished pianist.
She has maintained a highly-active performing schedule in her consistently growing career, collaborating with the Cologne University of Music Orchestra and the Verona Philharmonic in Italy as a solist.
Apart from her stunning performances as a piano soloist, she has also taught as a lecturer in accompaniment at the Cologne University of Music and University of Music Detmold, where she worked with eminent German musicians and Professors such as Rainer Moog, Victor Tretyakov, Diemut Poppen, and Gorjan Kosuta as a class accompanist and with whom she also performed solo recitals.
Her vast appearances include performing as a staff pianist at the International Chamber Music Festival and Master Classes in Greece, the Düsseldorf Chamber Music Festival, the Seoul International Music Camp Festival, and the Just Vivace Festival, to name a few.
In addition, she has also performed with top piano accompanists and has worked with German musicians and Professors Christoph Henkel and Igor Ozim as a class accompanist.
Currently, Ms. Kim is a lecturer at Sunhwa Arts Middle and High School and Kaywon Middle School of Arts as well as continuing to actively perform in broad scales of chamber music performances.
Kim Sanghee
Kim Sanghee graduated from Yewon School and Seoul Arts High School, received bachelor’s degree in piano from Seoul National University and completed a coach professional player course at Italian Donizetti Academy of Music. Early, she won a prize in Sonyeon-Hankook Ilbo concoure and Muse Piano concoure. In 2004 and 2005, She worked as the official accompanist at Great Mountains International Music Festival and as staff pianist at Eumyeon Music Camp/Baroque Orchestra Music Camp/Music journals Camp, also took part in play and mater classes of Concert World Music festival. In 2011 she held a recital with violinist Oh Ju-Young and a variety of playing activities.
She currently teaches at BaekSuk university and graduate school and is a permanent accompanist in Baroque Orchestra Academy. She has been participating in many musical activities including chamber/house Concert.
Nam Yun Jung
The winner of the Silver Medal in the Korea Piano Academic Association Concours, pianist Nam Yun Jung studied at the Internationale Sommerakademie Mozarteum, where she participated in master classes by pianist Christoph Lieske and violinist Igor Ozim. She has also performed in a master class by cellist Arto Noras. Nam has been a staff accompanist at the Euro Music Festival, Eumyoun Summer Music Festival, Mastmedia Festival, Italy Cremona Music Festival and was an official pianist at the KNUA Violin Series, Kumho Art Hall, Youngsan Art Hall. She was invited as an official pianist at The 6th International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians in 2009. She graduated from Korea National University of Art with a major in collaborative piano. She performs actively as a collaborative pianist and chamber musician.
