Baritone Seowon Kim is a graduate of Seoul National University’s College of Music and has been recognized for his solid technique and stage presence. He won the Grand Prize in the vocal division at both the 4th VEA Music Competition and the KPCS Music Competition. In 2021, he performed Hermann and Schlemil in Seoul National
University’s production of Les Contes d’Ho_mann. Since 2022, he has been a Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-Koo Foundation Arts Scholar. In 2025, he appeared as Conte in Ewha Womans University College of Music’s 100소 Anniversary production of Le nozze di Figaro and as Marcello in Seoul National University’s production of La Bohème.

Baritone Junyoung Choi holds a Bachelor of Music from the Korea National University of Arts and is currently pursuing a Master of Music at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin. In 2026, he won 1st Prize at the AsLiCo Competition. His 2025 awards include 1st Prize at the Piero Cappuccilli International Competition, 2nd Prize at the Salvatore Licitra International Competition, and 3rd Prize at the G.B. Viotti International Music Competition. In Korea, he received the Grand Prize at the SD Seoul International Voice Compatition&Doonamjae Art Song Concours(2025),the Grand Prize at the Daegu International Vocal Music Competition(2024), and 1st Prize at the BIASF International & Gloria Opera Competition(2023), as well as the Grand Prize from the Korea National Opera and the Gold Prize at the KBS-KEPCO Music Competition(2022). In 2025, he performed Scarpia in Tosca at the Teatro Sociale di Como and the title role in Falsta_ for Opera Domani(AsLiCo). His repertoire includes Figaro(Il barbiere di Siviglia), Belcore (L’elisir d’amore), and Count Almaviva(Le nozze di Figaro), with upcoming role debuts in 2026 as Macbeth and Renato (Un ballo in maschera). He has appeared as a soloist with the KBS Symphony Orchestra, Seongnam Philharmonic, and Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra.

Korean soprano Younji Yi is a member of the Opernstudio at Oper Frankfurt for the 2025/2026 season. There, she has appeared as Ismene in Mitridate, re di Ponto and Yvette in Mieczysław Weinberg’s Die Passagierin, and is scheduled to perform Piacere in George Frideric Handel’s Il trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno. A_ter earning her Bachelor’s degree at Korea National University of Arts, Yi pursued a Master of Music Studies in Opera Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, graduating in 2024 as a Greenberg-Gurney-Jensen Scholar under the guidance of Dr. Rowena Cowley. She subsequently joined the professional training program at Daegu Opera House for the 2024/2025 season, where she performed the role of Pamina in Die Zauberflöte. Her operatic repertoire also includes Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro, Servilia in La clemenza di Tito, and Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus. Yi has also been recognized in international competitions. She was a semi-finalist in the 2024 Neue Stimmen International Singing Competition and the 2025 Belvedere Singing Competition, and in 2022 received both the IFAC Handa Australia Singing Competition Audience Prize and the Bel Canto Award from the Joan Sutherland & Richard Bonynge Foundation.

Zihao Li studies at the Opera Department of the Central Academy of Drama under Prof.Sun Jian, conductor Niels Muus, and artistic director Guo Jiayin. He won the 2025 Korean KBS Superstar and 1st Prize at the 1st Sumi Jo International Singing Competition in Paris(2024). In 2024, he was selected for Riccardo Muti’s opera masterclass and performed Cavalleria Rusticana as Alfio. He won 2nd Prize at the 35th Marmande International Vocal Competition(2023), the Golden Peacock Cup at the 9th Peacock Cup National Vocal Music Exhibition(2023), the Special Award of the President at the 8th Seoul International Music Competition(2022), and double champion titles at the 6소 Korea–China International Vocal Competition(2022). In 2020, he received the Best Baritone Award and Best Young Singer Award at the 6th Italian Paulo Coni Opera Vocal Competition. He has appeared in Il barbiere di Siviglia, La Traviata, Les Pêcheurs de perles, Roméo et Juliette, La Bohème, Rigoletto, Die lustige Witwe, Die Zauberflöte, Turandot, and Visitors on the Iceberg.

Polish-American soprano Magdalena Kuzma has recently sung Pamina in Die Zauberflöte at the Polish National Theater and was the soprano soloist in Carmina Burana with the North Carolina Symphony. Later this season she will debut Tatyana in Eugene Onegin at Wolf Trap Opera. Last year she returned to the Metropolitan Opera as Papagena in The Magic Flute and Die Zauberflöte and made her role debut as Bubikopf in Der Kaiser von Atlantis with the New World Symphony. She made her Metropolitan Opera mainstage debut as Giannetta in L’elisir d’amore during the 2023/24 season and also appeared as Sister Catherine in Dead Man Walking and Yvette in La Rondine. Her performances include Susanna(Le nozze di Figaro), Juliette(Roméo et Juliette), Pamina(Die Zauberflöte), Frasquita(Carmen), and Adina(L’elisir d’amore). She has appeared at venues including Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall, and Merkin Hall, and performed as soprano soloist in Mahler’s Symphony No.4 and Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem, Op.45. She has won over 20 international competitions, including prizes from the George London Foundation, Jensen Foundation, and Gerda Lissner Foundation, and holds degrees from The Juilliard School, Oberlin College, and Yale University.
