  Performances must be a minimum of 25 minutes to a maximum of 30 minutes in duration.
However, the selections must include two or more works by at least two composers, including a
complete sonata by Haydn or Mozart.
 
 
2nd Stage
  Performances must be a minimum of 40 minutes to a maximum of 45 minutes in duration.
However, the selections must include two or more works by at least two composers, including one of
the major works by Chopin, Schumann, Liszt, Brahms or Franck.
 
 
Semifinal
  Performances must be a minimum of 60 minutes to a maximum of 65 minutes in duration.
However, the selections must include one of the following sonatas with specified string musicians.
 
Beethoven : Violin Sonata


No. 1 in D Major, Op.12
No. 2 in A Major, Op.12
No. 3 in E flat Major, Op.12
Beethoven : Cello Sonata

No. 1 in F Major, Op.5
No. 2 in g minor, Op.5
 

Final
  Competitors must perform one of the following concertos with the orchestra.

Notice
  1. No work can be repeated during the 1st, 2nd, Semifinal, and Final Rounds.  
2. All works must be performed from memory, with the exception of the chamber music.
3. Repeats will be left to the discretion of the candidate.
4. Changes in the submitted repertoire of all rounds may be made only with the permission of the
Secretariat. Competitors must notify the Secretariat of any changes in writing no later than
February 10, 2017.
5. For all rounds, the order of the works for performance will be decided by the competitor.
6. Performances time limit will be strictly observed. Performances which exceed the specified time limit
may be interrupted by the Jury.
7. Every round of the competition is open to the public.
