The Bucheon Philharmonic Orchestra is to various attempts and to build sound with a new leap forward in the second leading to much interest in classical music by him. Young Min Park is appointed as the music director &amp; conductor of the Bucheon Philharmonic Orchestra in 2015 and has been reinterpreting all of Mahler\u2019s Masterpiece, in Young Min Park style, \u201cYoung Min Park\u2019s Mahler series\u201d, a wide range of music of various eras such as French classic series, world music classic series, It shows the spectra of interpretation and shows every work by Wagner annually \u201cWagner\u2019s Feast series\u201d, He received a compliment indicating \u201cChallenging advanced music\u201d and \u201cVarious musicality\u201d, \u201cInsight into deep works\u201d. Also, in May 2016, He received the only official invitation from the Korean orchestra along with Bucheon Philharmonic in \u2018La FolleJourn\u00e9e Festival\u2019 which is the world\u2019s largest music festival, Kanazawa in Japan and he rewarded a lot of praise like a certain musicality with interpretation and dignity. When he performed with the Bremerhaven Orchestra in Germany in 2013, the local press highly recognized him and expected that they will see him on stages in Europe again. He also performed with the Statnifilharmonie Brno of Czech(Brno Philharmonic Orchestra), one of the best orchestras in the world, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Lithuania and the Balearic Symphony Orchestra(the former Majorca Symphony) founded by Ik-taeAhn. He is an artist for Aspen Japan, one of the best management companies of Japan, and is gaining attention as a rising star in Asia. Maestro Park graduated from the Department of Composition at the College of Music of Seoul National University, and acquired a master\u2019s degree by majoring in orchestral conducting at the Graduate School of Seoul National University. He also graduated from the Austria Salzburg Mozarteum University of Music and completed the course at Chigiana Summer Academy. He won the Paumgartner Medal from the International Mozart Foundation in 1996. Thanks to its great performances and wide-ranging repertoire, the Orchestra has grown to become one of Korea\u2019s world-class orchestras. The Orchestra was invited to represent Korea at the 1<sup>st<\/sup> Asia Orchestra Week held in Japan in 2002. It staged Berlioz\u2019s Symphonie Fantastique, receiving remarkably favorable reviews from Japanese music audiences and the press. The orchestra also amazed Japanese audiences again at the Kawasaki Concert Hall when it was invited by Kawasaki in 2006. Futhermore, the orchestra performed at Smetana Hall in Prague, Hercules Hall in Munich and Musikverein Goldener Saal in Vienna of Europe. In those the birthplace of classical music, they proved its excellence and built its reputation by receiving great commendations by local press and drew big applause from the audiences. The Orchestra is also well known for its performances of the complete symphonies of Mahler. The Mahler Series, which lasted from 1999 to 2003, is considered a milestone in the history of Korean classical music and marked the start of a \u201cMahler Fever\u201d in Korea. The untiring efforts of the Orchestra have been highly recognized in the Korean arts scene and won it the Hoam Prize in Art, often called Korea\u2019s Nobel Prize, in 2005, becoming the first musical organization to do so and strengthening the orchestra\u2019s position as the best orchestra in the nation. The Bucheon Philharmonic Orchestra is currently preparing for a new future under the direction of maestro Young Min Park, who was appointed as the new conductor in 2015 and has received recognition in Europe and Asia as well as in Korea.
